There is no gun. No one is saying he wasn’t in on the plot, they’re just saying he’s a patsy. There is no 30-06 that makes it onto the roof. Aside from that, if you’re trying to act like Tyler Robinson and he puts his thumbs in his pockets all the time, obviously that’s one of the best ways to mimick him.
