Everyone deserves a safe, secure place to call home. I will continue doing everything I can to end homelessness. It was good to visit the Social Bite Village to see how supported housing can offer people a safe place to stay, build up their confidence and rebuild their lives.

Look inside the newly-finished Social Bite Village in Rutherglen, a purpose-built temporary accommodation for 15 homeless people.🏠 It will offer service users (single men and women) a safe place to stay for around six months to a year, while paying their own bills, council tax and rent.🔑 Read here:

Everyone deserves a shot at a place to call home. The time is now to cut red tape and streamline zoning so we can make it easier to build more affordable homes for all Michiganders.

This is why, for the second year in a row, homelessness has gone down. Housing transforms lives, like Robert’s, who now has a safe place to call home and spend meaningful time with his son. We will keep bringing people inside, offering them shelter and hope.

Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. But under Danielle Smith and the UCP, that goal is slipping further out of reach: Alberta now has the worst housing affordability in the country. We can change that. ⬇️ /1 #BetterisPossible

I’m running for Governor because I believe we can fix what’s broken—whether it’s the lack of affordable housing or a failing education system—and build something better, together. Making Michigan a place where everyone can thrive, the best place to call home, will always be my north star.

Nevada faces unique challenges when it comes to affordable housing, and we need to find unique solutions. I want to thank Elizabeth Warren for convening a housing roundtable in the Senate where I highlighted how I’m working to make sure every Nevada family can afford a place to call home.

We're in a housing crisis — and Donald Trump is making it worse by slashing housing programs and driving up costs with his reckless tariffs. I’ve got a plan to build more homes, bring down rent, and cut unnecessary red tape because everyone deserves a place to call home.

I hear from constituents every day that housing is their first, second, & third priority. That’s why I’m proud to deliver $500K in federal funding to support Mattapan seniors' housing and their right to age with dignity. Everybody deserves a place to rest, dream, & call home.

"I support Israel and we must continue to support Israel. But there was a slaughter of the Palestinian people in Gaza." On America's relationship with Israel Wendy R. Sherman tells me, "things have changed, I spend a lot of time with younger people. I try to listen and learn as my parents did with me during the Vietnam war... Israel must be safe and secure and have peace forever. And the Palestinians have to be able to have dignity and a place they can call their own as well."
