claude design is my all time favorite anthropic drop this year, even more than opus 4.7 its actually really really good at design and the "handoff to claude code" makes it basically copy/paste ui to the actual working product claude design made the entire ui for merl (full video on merl soon)

designers love to hate on raw, unfinished things. redesigning the whole ios/watchos/macos/... ui after a decade is a brutal challenge for any design team! almost impossible to satisfy the expectation. most haters around here have never designed in a large organization like apple and are not aware of challenges such as politcs, opiniated stakeholder, impossible deadlines, the list goes on... i empathise with the ui designers in apple. yes! os26 and liquid glass feels rough at the moment! so did the ios7 at launch. it evolved. this will too. i appreciate the brave direction apple has taken with this liquid glass ui. yes it comes with challenges including readability, compatibility and more... let's stop b*tching about it and contribute to solutionise these challenges.

I Finally tried the Play For Dream, The "Apple Vision Pro" running on Android 15 with controllers. I have to say, I'm very impressed! The hardware is solid, with eye tracking, auto IPD, pancake lenses, the software feels snappy, even if very "familiar" :P, and the MicroOled Screens really shine here. There was still some chromatic aberration and not many apps to play with, but playing PCVR on it was incredible ( with some latency tho ) Probably one of my fav demos at #CES2025 so far! I can't wait to share more and hopefully a full review soon.

Hot Take 👀 The new Glass slider in iOS 27 should be the benchmark for every mobile OS. I mean, this takes customization to a completely different level. Users can actually control how much Liquid Glass they want instead of being forced into a single design choice. Meanwhile, One UI can barely offer this level of UI customization 😌 When it comes to UI/UX, Apple is the king. Samsung, prove me wrong by copying this for One UI 👀🔥
