Some people may never understand this, but that’s okay. I can honestly listen to Floyd Shivambu for hours. There is something about the way he explains issues,calmly, intelligently, and with such depth,that keeps me listening. Every time he speaks, I learn something. He doesn’t just speak to be heard; he educates, he challenges, and he inspires critical thinking. That is a rare gift. He reminds me of my days with my Grandmother, she was not a storyteller but planting seeds of knowledge. This is what I miss the most ngoFloyd 🤷🏽‍♀️. Regardless of everything that has happened, and regardless of those who came between us, sabotaged me out of AFRIKA Mayibuye or succeeded in pulling us apart, they can never erase the deep respect and appreciation I have for him. I fully appreciate Floyd not only for his intellect, but for the impact he has had on my own political growth.
