Baskin says some in the Israeli government have wanted to renew the war and so the US and other world leaders are having to "babysit Bibi" to keep Israel from going back to full-scale conflict. He added, the United States will continue to "lean on" Israel to adhere to the ceasefire while Israel "kicks and screams" trying to violate it.

As Israel is destroying the Gaza Strip, The Wall Street Journal is reporting that Iran’s Revolutionary Guards gave the final go-ahead for Hamas to attack Israel last Monday and helped plan the attack. Apparently there was a meeting in Beirut last week in which the decision was made, and the attack had been being planned since August. Russia also says that they are siding with Iran. Could this be planned by Russia as a diversion tactic? Does this mean we should expect to see a war with Iran? Does the US get involved?
