My first time being a driver in a secret service detail I was given an FBI SUV, did my tasks and was told by the white house to return to airforce one. I parked the car over a third of a mile away to rearrange the back seat to fit more people. By the time I got done call it 90 seconds I had SS do a check in saying I was spooking the sniper and had to go back through security. What happened yesterday is different than my lived experience working with these people on 4 occasions

if you look at this photo, you’ll notice there is a very tall water tower overlooking the buildings of the Trump rally. An advance CS team would’ve utilized this structure as it provides the highest elevation & greatest visual vantage point. At past rallies, there’s been birds in the air with what I’d assume would be OW & QRF teams. Certainly major gaffes are abundant in this protection zone.
