I totally agree! It's funny because while I really enjoy stories that are dark or explore dark themes, I think it's important more end with a hopeful note. ex. Berserk - while the story is full of horrors and strife, the ultimate core idea is that we persist, no matter what

The "people had a choice" monologue by Ten unironically is fantastic and extremely meaningful / philosophical, and its a shame it isn't more well known it seems, especially in times right now where the world feels very hopeless

I prefer 20020, personally— bigger scope, more labyrinthian rules set, more stupidly tribalistic, more endearingly human. Playing games forever on a hundred little lines of dirt, running the football back and forth, scheming and plotting and blitzing. That’s paradise.
