Everyone remembers the teachers who made a difference. For me that was Ms Haq, whose drive to see us all succeed changed so many lives at my school. Labour will deliver 6500 extra new qualified teachers to make that difference, paid for by ending private school tax breaks.

Teachers in independent schools make a difference to kids too, 1 in 5 of whom have SEN. Kids, that the state system could not support. VAT will force some children to leave their current school, a place where they have friends, are happy, settled, and thriving. #FindABetterWay

It doesn't make sense to bang on about tax breaks. Independent schools save taxpayers £8-12k per child. upstream and downstream benefits worth £30k per child. VAT exemption is a bargain. That's why no other country taxes education. #ThisTaxHelpsNoOne #educationnottaxation

"Tax Break"?! Education is VAT exempt for good social and economic reasons. Many businesses are also VAT exempt. Will @UKLabouralso add VAT on Uni Fees? books? Sanitary Products? Groceries? Private Health? Private Dentistry? Childcare? #EducationNotTaxation #FindABetterWay

Just 7% of teachers who left the profession last year were retiring. The other 93% left to pursue other careers. We don’t have a recruitment crisis, we have a retention crisis. 6,500 new teachers won’t touch the sides.

And the teacher in Batley who has had to go into hiding

"Too few teachers in state schools", so how will they cope when extra kids join, having been forced to leave their independent school due to tax their parents can not afford? Taxing education is morally wrong. #EducationNotTaxation

You have to first collect the taxes before making promises you will NEVER keep! Do not vote Liebour - they will let you down even more than the Tories!

What do you think when Red Tory Labour gargoyles screech "Oh! Look at the state of our water!! Sewage everywhere, our beaches and beautiful rivers ruined, our tap-water poisoned! Damn those Tories!!" ? But, it wasn't the Tories It was Labour, lying in their Manifestos Again

How many do you anticipate ‘losing’ due to long covid?

There are 570,265 teachers in the UK. So that would be an extra 1%. That wouldn't even cover the teachers leaving because of poor pay and conditions, which you are going to do nothing about. You people are such liars.
