This is not greek yogurt. It's Turkish and it is fake yogurt. Next time try real greek yogurt. It is much much better.

Is that salt you are adding after the lemon? I can't tell what it is.

FYI: You put the yogurt in a straining cloth in a sieve and weigh it down and let the water drain into the bowl and away from the cloth. Otherwise it's self defeating.

Drain Greek yogurt, top it with olive oil and za'atar, and you've got labaneh.

Chobani’s founder is Kurdish immigrant from Turkey. Instead of calling it Turkish yogurt he called it Greek yogurt for marketing bc the world knows / loves Greek yogurt but no one would buy something called Turkish yogurt. Fage is generally the preferred “real” Greek yogurt.
