I appreciate the fact that you want people to be security conscious while this is not totally correct, he forgot that you can't really authorize transfers via mobile apps as insinuated without OTP(a kinda 2fa) being required. I wonder if there is any bank's mobile app that you will be able to set up using ATM card detail and pin without passing through OTP or some other form of 2FA. These are basic standards. This kind of attack will only be completed if the attacker has access to your phone or token device/app as applicable

An added security measure will be to have 1 ATM card. You can have multiple bank accounts. Only just the account with card to make withdrawals from anywhere. At least that's what I do
