This AI puts a full production studio in one person’s hands, cinematic-level output. $0.35 per generation. Competitors charge 7× more for the same model. And it’s 70% off. Hollywood is cooked.

There’s a weird paradox in AI video right now: The more ambitious the shot, the less you want the model improvising everything. For a simple clip, “describe → generate” can be enough. But for a complex scene, it helps to define the world first. That’s the idea behind the GPT-6 Astra workflow I’ve been testing: build the 3D scene, establish spatial relationships, and define the camera and character paths in the Viewport. Then, manually bring everything into CapCut PC. Seedance 2.5 handles the video rendering, while CapCut PC takes the result through post-production. Spatial control before generation. Creative control after it. #CapCutPC #GPT6Astra #AIVideo #Seedance25

We may be overestimating the importance of the generation step in AI video. Getting a model to produce a beautiful 10-second clip is impressive. But filmmaking has never been just about producing footage. It’s about deciding what happens before the camera rolls, controlling the shot, and shaping the material afterward. That’s why this workflow is interesting: GPT-6 Astra establishes the 3D space and camera + character movement in the Viewport. The scene is manually brought into CapCut PC. Seedance 2.5 renders the video. Then CapCut PC takes the result through post-production. Generation becomes one stage in a larger pipeline rather than the finish line. Maybe that’s the direction AI video needs to take if it’s going to move beyond “cool clips” and toward actual filmmaking workflows. And CapCut PC is a pretty natural place to experiment with that full process. #CapCutPC #GPT6Astra #AIVideo #Seedance25

This feels less like ""AI image generation"" and more like actually directing a shot. Turns out GPT-6 Astra + Dreamina Seedance 2.5 is an actual pipeline. I started with a real photo and used GPT-6 Astra + Blender to recreate it as a clay-style scene. Then I used Seedance 2. 5 to figure out the movement and camera motion. The last step happens in Dreamina - turning that clay animation into a live-action result. The separation of structure → motion → final look is what makes this workflow interesting. #Dreamina #DreaminaPartner

🤿 ICYMI: Agents don’t learn in the abstract — they learn by interacting with environments. This post on RL environments is more relevant than ever as agents move into production and evaluation gets harder.

$The main hurdle holding back AI video generation right now is no longer the fidelity. It is the expense. Word is going around about a fresh launch dubbed Dreamina Seedance 2.0 mini, said to be dropping on June 15, which promises to deliver premium Seedance-tier footage for a fraction of the cost. Assuming the output rivals Seedance 2.0, we are looking at top-tier video production becoming available to a dramatically wider pool of artists. Cheaper generation translates directly to bolder experiments, wilder creativity, and more founders shipping products. This is absolutely a development you need to monitor. #dreamina #dreaminaseedance2mini$

Seedance 2.0 is now live on invideo for Max, Generative, and Team plan users. BytePlus's most advanced video model — and arguably the most controllable AI video model ever released. Multimodal input. Motion replication from reference videos. Native audio-video generation in one pass. Character consistency that actually holds. Director-level camera control. Real-world physics. This isn't prompt-and-pray. This is a production tool. Only available through business email verification for all regions except US and Japan.

Competition 2: Mesh Generation 🦾 Until now, our subnet has focused on Gaussian splats. That work led to integrations with Unity, building the world’s largest 3D dataset, and early application deployments with real users and organic traffic growth. 🕹️ The next step is clear. Developers want native mesh generation that drops straight into existing game pipelines and unlocks real production use today. 🤖 Our competition format lets us move flexibly between goals, optimizing for near term commercial utility with meshes and balancing longer term research with Gaussian splat world models and digital twins. 📈 With significant open source mesh models releasing in the past weeks, the timing is right and the bar for miner innovation has never been higher. Mesh competition launches in 2 weeks!

Seedance 2.0 in native 4K. Skin texture, glass rendering, directional lighting, and a real micro-expression. The kind of frame professional filmmakers would cut into a production. Half our team are professional filmmakers. This is their verdict.

X’s in-app browser is cool, but it makes saving links via the share extension a real pain on mobile. (IYKYK.) We’ve solved this with a neat new trick. Now, when you save an X post to Matter that contains a URL, we ask if you want to save the link or the post. TLDR: If you want to save an article linked in a post, just save the post directly from your feed! You can thank Hunter for this clever, "obvious in retrospect" idea.

Ubisoft La Forge open-sourced its PBR material model CHORD, together with ComfyUI custom nodes for end-to-end AI material generation. This is a real step toward generative AI in AAA game pipelines and demonstrates how ComfyUI has grown from an open-source community tool to a production platform. Huge thanks to the Ubisoft La Forge team for giving back real production-grade tools to the open source community.
