Everyone thinks 3D AI can only do stylized characters. It used to be true. The new generators changed that. The quality jump is drastic, and real photorealism is now doable. So here's my new workflow: a realistic character from a single AI image, conformed to the new MetaHuman. Facial... show more

That’s neat. I’d considered doing this with pics of my wife and then letting her try on clothes with a 3d model

Hey dude what's up I was wondering if you could help me with making mortal kombat characters for a unreal engine 5 game project im willing to pay for the work that is done

This looks like something out of a horror movie 😂😂 I’m terrified to have to do this

my experience with 3d deforming is that the patches of how it made move separately when deformed. how do you overcome this. happens on smart meshes too.

可怕的生产力!

Freeze one face still before the MetaHuman conform. Photoreal generators still invent a cousin if the plate isn't locked.

Are you using metahuman?

That is impressive. I use CC4 for human characters, since I already spent the money on it a long time ago. Would be nice if AI could do hair/beards tho!

misleading, you're still using the metahuman pipeline for the final mesh

Would love to see you fit multiple shirt/pants (like 3 or 4) to the same base body mesh using generated assets. LLMs need to solve the modular gear swap pipeline!

does photorealism survive metahuman facial animation? static renders hide deformation errors

This is the kind of workflow detail that matters. The jump isn't just better output, it's turning a creative process into repeatable steps. That's where AI starts moving real work forward, not just making impressive examples.

Why is there still so much manual work

Do you have any raw files to share?

Moi personnellement ce que j'aimerais, c'est justement pouvoir faire des MetaHuman qui n'ont rien d'humain 🫤
