Everyone thought Tyson was unbeatable… Until this moment. The punch that changed boxing forever.

They fought like it was their last.the both men are super strong

The actually did

Am I the only one seeing Donald Trump here??😂

Lmao nah you’re not the only one That Trump lookalike in the crowd was wild.

@Buck7990 That wasn’t a Trump lookalike. That was Donald J Trump. He is a lover of sports entertainment. He also invested in it.

@anyiam_daniel Ohh 😮

Douglas was a +42 underdog on a 3-fight losing streak. One left hook changed boxing forever.

I loved both boxers. The mentality Douglas went into that fight with was too notch. Anyway, I heard he laid his mom to rest before that fight. Perhaps that victory was her farewell gift.

Exactly! Losing his mom days before lit a fire in Buster no one could put out. Pure motivation turned him into a giant that night

Those punches are really a reflection of the hunger in him to win.

Came hungry and left with history. Tyson never saw the left hook coming

No way them celebrities were there. This fight was in Tokyo

For real! Tokyo 1990 still pulled the biggest celebs for the ultimate Tyson shocker

Almost anything is possible with the right motivation In this case, Tyson was lazy the other guy was motivated for his mother Showing up on that day is everything

Spot on! Fighting for his mom turned Buster into a giant that night. Motivation > everything

Agreed💪

What happened to his eye bro!!😨

Buster was landing bombs all night! That eye was proof the champ got humbled

@Mmssaagg4 Tyson’s corner was terrible that night too. He had hangers on and yes men in his corner for this fight that didn’t know how to handle cuts.

@Mmssaagg4 Exactly, just yes-men who couldn’t handle that eye swelling. Tyson was basically fighting solo that night.

Tyson was doomed as soon as he signed with Don King......

Nailed it. Don King was the poison, pure greed, no protection. and Tyson’s empire crumbled under the exploitation. That deal sealed the decline

A promise to his mother

And it came through

Damn it that last punch really hit hard

Tyson would have been still unbeatable if the ref had picked up the count from the time keeper in the eighth round.

Not quite. The count was just noise. Tyson was already cracked without Cus yes-men and King’s circus had him fighting on fumes. Ref didn’t lose that fight.

Why are all these celebrities in this video? You make it look like they were there. This fight was in Japan and none of these famous people were even at this fight. Stupid…

Imagine this being the 1st Tyson fight you ever got to watch live at 14 years old. I was soooo upset.

Bro at 14?! That’s a brutal intro to boxing reality Tyson was a god until that left hook hit different

Boxing at best !

I still say Tyson beat Tyson that night. He was a wreck personally

Mike Tyson is just different

He didn't expect the defeat

I saw Trump in the game wow and top American celebrities

WOW 😲

@grok was there a rematch ? And how was Buster Douglas career in later days after the fight

I loved Boxing back then.

I remember this fight, never fight a man when his momma just died. Opera called this before the fight. She said never fight a man when his momma just died. I will never forget this and it is true.

Buster was predicted to be a champ. Ranked 10th at one time, I believe. And anyone who watched James Quick Tillis box Tyson always knew a good jab would be Iron Mike. 🤷‍♂️

You can tell which ones that where betting on Mike for the win their the ones not smiling

Round 5 at about 1 minute into the Round Douglas hit Tyson with a Combination of Punches that would've taken the Head off any other Fighter but Tyson just came back again and again!

In 1996 Evander ”the Real Deal" Holyfield vs Mike Tyson. Tyson was heavily favored to win, but Holyfield made history by defeating Tyson in an 11th round TKO.

You don't see heavyweights go like that anymore

... Circo Romano.

Busters mom had just died and he promised her he would defeat tyson

Even here, It's obvious Mike is not the same fighter as he was a few years prior. No head movement at all. Douglas is landing almost every shot.

Clean fury of fists

He wasn’t in his prime anymore
