First time in decades the president is fighting for the bottom half of the country and not the other way around. And people are furious.

Seeing it a lot on here and in private group chats. Disgusting. Watched two 1%’s that I’ve known for 5+ years develop full blown TDS in the last two months bc they’re not getting EVEN RICHER fast enough. Asshole behavior.

When financial markets crash, it damages the real economy and the bottom 50% get hit even harder because they don’t have a financial buffer. I agree with the idea, but I’m not sure they’ll actually benefit from all this turmoil.

Bessent hasn't game theoried the through enough. By trying to rebalance too quickly, all that debt by the 55% will go unpaid and create a complete negative feedback loop: Because if there is no relief on U.S./China impasse: Trillions of dollars will exit the U.S. U.S. markets across the board continue to collapse. Tariffs make running and planing businesses nearly impossible to plan. So business activity, and the U.S. Wealth Effect Model continues to crash and destitute the U.S. population as unemployment soars, and all previous debts start to collapse on itself. the Federa reserve is then forced to keep printing and printing while the U.S. and China remain at big odds with one another-- making the 55% that just reneged on their deficits even more poor. Dollar hyper inflates as China and other blocs leave the dollar making matters worse and worse for those 55%.

If you think he's "fighting for the bottom half of the economic ladder," then you don't know much about Donald Trump. 🤡

Anyone who is ‘old left’ is getting exactly what we’ve wanted for years in many respects.

I watched it. I don’t know how tariffs (if it raises prices) helps the people who don’t have equity in the companies they will be buying from. Even if you don’t have equity you need affordable food and shelter. I like Scott B a ton. His work with Soros was legendary.
