Even I don’t want to see this but bitcoin:native has followed this Fibonacci bottoming pattern every cycle. In 2018 and 2022 price pushed past the 0.618 and deep into the 0.75 zone before the real bottom. We’re still nowhere near that pocket so my base case is another leg down into the 0.618-0.75 zone. The only thing that changes my view is a structural breakout above $82K-$83K followed by a retest of at least 50% of the breakout leg. Until I see that I’m sticking with the downside thesis.

Even I don’t want to see this but bitcoin:native has followed this Fibonacci bottoming pattern every cycle. In 2018 and 2022 price pushed past the 0.618 and deep into the 0.75 zone before the real bottom. We’re still nowhere near that pocket so my base case is another leg down into the 0.618-0.75 zone. The only thing that changes my view is a structural breakout above $82K-$83K followed by a retest of at least 50% of the breakout leg. Until I see that I’m sticking with the downside thesis.

My base case is distribution from here followed by a deeper reset toward the low $50Ks. $82K is the line in the sand for this setup. If we reclaim it cleanly I’ll reconsider the whole thesis.

🚨 DON’T GET FOOLED A correction is NOT a reversal. $BTC is doing exactly what I expected. The bounce into $70K–$72K is just the first major retest. Above that, we still have Monthly FVGs around $80K and $95K–$100K. Each bounce can look bullish. Each retest can make people believe the bottom is in. But unless Bitcoin breaks this bearish structure, I still expect the real bottom around $48K–$52K. Don’t confuse a relief rally with the start of a new bull run. The biggest trap may still be ahead.

Everyone is calling the $BTC structure flipped and saying the bull run has started. But I’m watching one thing closely. Every time $BTC pushed RSI into the overbought zone during this cycle we saw a major correction right after. We’ve seen it 3 times already and the drawdowns were brutal. Now RSI is rolling over again while everyone is getting bullish around resistance. That’s where a bull trap can form. If the sequence repeats, we could see another major flush that traps late buyers, forces out leverage and eventually sends $BTC toward a final bottom in Q4 like the previous corrections. My thesis stays valid below the $82K–$84K area. A strong high-volume close above that zone would invalidate this setup for me. The crowd sees the bull run starting. I’m watching for the trap.

We're at premium levels, weekly structure still hasn't flipped, and Q4 isn't even here yet. if this is the final flush before the bigger move higher, it could be fast and brutal for late bulls. i'm bearish on the setup, not the cycle. $82K–$84K is my line in the sand. strong acceptance above it and this thesis is invalid. until then, i'm not chasing.
