On this note, if you put a stock saturator at the end of your master set to digital clip, and turn the "high quality" oversampling mode off, what you hear in ableton will be exactly the same as what you hear after exporting.

someone else mentioned this also I gotta try it! thx

yeah thats wild, have you heard this yet?

love these videos dude - you have a great ability to explain technical things in a comprehensible way

appreciate that a lot of the time im just sittin here like "will anyone understand WTF i am talking about" cuz this stuff feels so niche

great vid🫡

Great video :) just did a little self discovery with this recently as well. Used to work entirely in 16bit wav and quickly learned to not do that lol

Great explanation, thanks boss

The redline bros really need to hear this. We run into similar issues in video production when using a 32-bit audio recorder with a 24-bit wireless mic. The mic signal can get clipped before it gets recorded even though the recording is technically not clipped cause it’s 32-bit

oh that's so interesting haha, never thought about that

newfangled goated

yeah it's really good on another note people on TikTok are saying the ableton saturator nulls with the right settings will report back when I have a chance to test!
