everything about this scene is so painful, max leaving the lighthouse empty with the sunset behind her, joyce struggling to walk, david and kate trying to comfort her, victoria being there even though she "hated" her, justin and trevor who were the last friends chloe really had

are also at her funeral. frank being there even though he and chloe were kind off fighting over rachel because he knew how much chloe meant to her and he respected chloe a lot. the butterfly being the relief and the smile of max at the end since it is chloe's rebirth

I will NEVER swallow this ending 😭😭😭😭

Joyce loosing her husband AND her only daughter in the span of 10 years must've been brutal she really lost everyone

This will never fail to make me miserable max was strong to even me smiling at that point i’d BE SOBBING AND NEVER LEAVE HER GRAVE

I never really cared for Chole I only cared because Max did but seeing Joyce destroyed like that I couldn't help but feel bad for her

i forget how devastating this choice is, because i never watch it past the first second. i know the bae ending was under-developed but at least it doesn't have such a weighty feeling of regret and pain, it's the less upsetting ending imo

It's powerful but I think of all the things that Chloe's death achieved: Exposing Jefferson, weakening Prescott (he's having to deal with Nathan working with a *serial killer* and this may lead to the Bay escaping his control and rebuiding, I think that Chloe would say 'worth it'

I don't even pay attention for the second half of that clip since I was crying so hard.
