Sue Devaney was just brilliant in tonight's episode. What an actress.

Carl's reaction to Debbie's revelation is understandable given how Elaine treated him however we are gonna to endure an angry, resentful Carl now. Debbie was only an teenage herself. Sue Devaney was brilliant in that scene, her performance stellar as always.

He still has a chip on his shoulder and Debbie didn't cause the death of Billy.

Please put Emmerdale back on 7.30 and Corrie on at 8

Can’t be doing with this particular scene but there was great humour in the roof top scenes with Kev, Brian Abi etc. Bring back the comedy or Corrie will be doomed!

It would be such a nicer story if Carl didn’t let his SISTER & his mum go to prison for a crime… HE DIDNT COMMIT. The accident was Becky faults along with Aaron & John. But how is this crime in Weatherfield since it happened in country side?

Aye, isn’t that the way? Life’s full of surprises, just like a good Corrie plot twist. What’ll they think of next—aliens in the Rovers?

The acting is so strong and heartbreaking. Very good performances by actors who play Debbie & Carl.

So after Carl has found out that Debbie is his mum…Amy sympathy for the reason he is the way he is?#Corrie

Poor Debbie she was literally a child and all decisions made by the adults in her life. Carl is cruel and self centred as ever.

This Debbie story is odd, she's at verge of serious dementia level, yet seems to remember every single detail of 30 odd yrs ago and everything? Lol

Respect Corrie, some of the best acting scenes i have watched in years on Corrie, Debbie and Carl superb, Kevin & Abby. Do I feel sorry for Carl, has his whole life been a Self-destruct button? We are moulded as kids for our future. Is he a monster? Was ready to go to prison
