Oh I know why, you can't completely ditch the OT as stupid, primitive and tribal because Christians claim the entire Bible is God’s Word So they invented the fulfillment framework instead: The Old Testament laws were never wrong - they were shadows, types, and preparations. - Circumcision → fulfilled in baptism (spiritual circumcision of the heart). - Animal sacrifices → fulfilled in Jesus’ once-for-all sacrifice. - Food laws → fulfilled in Jesus declaring all foods clean (Mark 7) or Peter’s vision. - The whole sacrificial/temple system → fulfilled in Jesus as the true Temple and High Priest.
