When we needed this border state Senator to stand up for our national security, he chose open borders. Kelly had 4 years to “ACT QUICKLY” to stop the invasion- he lied every time he told us legislation was needed to secure our borders. Kelly has never accepted responsibility or been held accountable for for choosing open borders over our national security. He will never express remorse for those dead due to open borders. @SenMarkKelly held all the cards necessary to force Biden to change course and secure our borders. 1. Kelly a border state Senator had power. 2. Kelly a retired naval officer with 25 years of military service had the knowledge on the importance of secure borders. 3. In an equally divided Senate, 50/50, Kelly had the leverage to demand secure borders before approving any spending bills. Kelly had a gold-plated opportunity to show courage and leadership. Kelly chose open borders over our national security. He put his selfish political ambitions ahead of country. This was the most consequential decision he made as a Senator and it came with a cost of thousands of lives and over $150 billion dollars to pay for this invasion.
