Beginning to end, from the pre-match promos, to the match itself, and then to the post-match interviews, this is IMO the absolute quintessence of professional wrestling. This doesn’t get talked about enough as one of the GOAT Mania matches. The storytelling is unmatched.

The Fink is still the best.

This is legit one of my favorite matches of all time. You nailed it with gorilla and Bobby. Finks intro and crowing of a new champion were great. Roddys intro was great too.

Why didn’t they ever call him The Nature Boy in the WWF during this time?

He called himself that occasionally but beyond that, I'm going to assume that they just didn't want to. I don't know for sure but that's my guess.
