Everything here that is wrong about the powers & support given to front line Gardai, the reality that they’re not permitted to engage with this obnoxious thuggery is an indictment of our current system & if they do engage risk being charged themselves, not acceptable!

Contrast. I’m over 70. I have a E-bike. I was stopped and asked if the bike was compliant with maximum power and speed. A young Garda spent 20 minutes examining my ebike. Towards the end a young group on escooters and other scooters passed by, shouting abuse at the Garda.

The fear is that this kind of reckless lawlessness by those on the bikes will lead to the death of a pedestrian or cyclist. It’s very frightening to witness this activity if you’ve a mobility imparement as you feel vulnerable that something is going to go wrong as they race up and down roads and footpaths. Very difficult situation for the Garda.

Ban the import of those fucking electric bikes for starters.

This is the product of a weak, liberal, woke and cowardly culture. Those in governance and power are, in the main, products of an educational, ethical and moral landscape sculpted in la la land. So when reality comes knocking they stand by like rabbits in the headlights.

In my Country ( the Netherlands) this scum would simply be driven of the road mostly by police on motor bikes, they will kick them off. Broken bones ? Tough luck wanker.

If it was Two Old Ladies protesting against a Migrant Centre in their Community, The Garda would come down on them like a Ton of Bricks, are we meant to feel sorry for The Garda, if Garda had The Balls to stand together, they would be able to sort out these Scrotes in no time

And they wonder why they can’t recruit to the force and current incumbents are leaving in their droves???

Also looks to only be one guard in the car which also speaks about how short of guards this country is.
