Everything Just Started Disappearing! I was looking for a publicly posted photo on Nancy Guthrie’s Facebook page when I noticed everything was disappearing. Over time, I’ve watched this very public Facebook page slowly delete or make certain photos private, then friends, comments, and eventually entire years’ worth of content.... Now, only three things remain: two photos of Nancy and one photo of Cameron in the Featured Photos, edited or added July 2. WHAT DO YOU THINK, if anything, about the SINGLE featured photo left? How horrifying what happened to Nancy. I understand the need for privacy, but I can’t help wondering: if we followed the direction things seem to be going, what would happen if the public stopped asking questions, stopped looking, and eventually stopped talking about her altogether? It is incredibly bizarre and so, so sad. 😞 I just don’t understand. Is this the way the family deals with closure for saying goodbye to their mom? I know the case isn’t solved, but if they’re going to just dismiss her/everything involved, instead of acting this way, go ahead and hold a memorial service to celebrate her and send her off. But, maybe they personally have in private. I don’t know. Just something seems off. I feel with Savannah being in the public eye, she would’ve alluded to the fact that they did that. But, people would then say they’ve given up on their mom. But, WHY are A & T hiding and WHY is Cameron completely silent? When was the last time Savannah went to Tucson? Or any of them? Seems like they’d want to be involved with a task force or updated. Maybe they do get updates—who knows? Or maybe they already know enough information??? 👀 Ultimately, avoidant behavior seems to be the preferred path here. Many of us haven’t forgotten Nancy. We still want justice for her. 💛

I’ve never understood that either, especially with the family having the means to hire security. My only fear would be my child being exposed to the “rumors.” And if I genuinely thought there was a possibility of my child being abducted, going into hiding? No, I would just have security.

I can tell you exactly what has occurred on that page, in order—not all at once, but over a period of time. First, the daughters’ pages went dark or became unavailable. Then Nancy’s page started to change, maybe 4 months ago. You could no longer follow the account, Friends list went private, some comments by others and replies went missing, then all of Nancy’s replies were hidden, first everything pertaining to her daughter. Photos and most posts by others were still present, then all of the 2025 posts were made private or deleted, followed by all posts being hidden. And yesterday, by 3 PM, all photos were made unavailable or deleted, except for two of Nancy’s and one of Cam’s.
