I grew up with my dad owning all kinds of different Land Rovers (could not tell you for the life of me which ones) Discos where unmatched for comfort for my young self

Well ... Imma gonna preface this with "I grew up in England and..." You could have bought an electrical nightmare... And if the trans wasn't well maintained it's gonna need rebuilt... And along with leaking head gaskets they tended to overheat and crack the block...

I had a 03 se7 and miss the hell out of it but those have sky rocketed in price for decent ones

the easiest way to fix this might be to pull the body off the frame I'm not even going to lie to you that might save you time in the long run
