Jack Posobiec said nearly those exact words yesterday: “it is time to start arresting the communists.” It was in response to the federal arrest of Heidi Beirich (former Southern Poverty Law Center Intelligence Project director) on fraud, bank false-statement, and money-laundering charges. Prosecutors say she helped funnel millions in donor money through shell companies to informants inside extremist groups, including one she was romantically involved with. Posobiec framed it as reciprocity after years of the Southern Poverty Law Center targeting the right. He has said versions of “arrest the communists” for years. The “panicking / speaking to themselves / linked back” part is the poster’s opinion. The quote and the arrest are real.
