Evil flourishes because Good people do nothing Darkness expands because Good people hide their Light under the bed , worried they might offend the darkness Or did we forget that Light shines in the darkness , and the darkness didn’t comprehend it nor overcome it

In him was life, and the life was the light of men. The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it. - John 1:4-5 No further commentary needed.

Joseph went from the pit to the palace. Jesus went from the tomb to the throne. The presence of a shadow means light is coming! “The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it” (John 1:5). Watch #ShadowPeople at #TPHDallas #WNBS

Amid the grief that shakes our world, she kneels. In her light, I see a promise: ‘The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it’. (John 1:5) Pray for Charlie, pray for Iryna, pray for all who suffer. ‘Hail Mary’ 16x20 inch, oil on canvas

“Don’t complain about the darkness. Be the light.” What this young man said is not only wise, it’s scriptural. Jesus didn’t tell us to curse the darkness. He told us to be the light of the world and the salt of the earth. A candle doesn’t argue with the dark…. It simply shines. The Bible says, “And the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not.” (John 1:5 KJV) Anyone can point out what’s wrong with the world. The harder thing is to live differently. To love when others hate or to show grace when others rage. To speak truth when others lie and to reflect Christ in a culture that has forgotten Him. The world doesn’t need more people complaining about the darkness. It needs more obedient believers carrying the Light.

Good Friday is a reminder that the darkness is not permanent, that darkness cannot defeat the light, that weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.

After seeing Charlie's memorial all I could think about was John 1:5: ''The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.'' Watching Erika Kirk forgive her husband's assassin was the most incredible testimony to our Faith that I've seen in my life. I'm in awe of you, Erika.

When you and I are in the grip of some people’s extinct nightmare last gasps it becomes robustly important to recognize the nightmare and guide it out of the darkness they created and into the light we will make. You and I are the single candle that chases away their—darkness.

How are these atrocities still going on. “The only thing necessary for the triumph of evil is for good people to do nothing”. There is power in unity, there is more good than evil, more light than darkness. Don’t let this seemingly endless chaos dim your spirit. Stand in the light. #truth #justice #freedom
