Fantastic post. I can see how much you put into this, so thank you. What's interesting is that I had goosebumps listening all the way up until the 1900s. We desparately need God. But, I'll admit, I was feeling nastalgic from some of those 90s/00s bangers.

Fascinating, especially the clear demarcation between different musical styles & everything becoming the same. Whitney Houston (who I'm not keen on) fresher & newer than Nirvana (who I liked). Surprising & interesting juxtaposition esp early 20thC showing progress isn't linear.
