Fun video, but amusing that the 1930s family is much poorer than all the others!

Prefer the no screen option (even as I type this message into a screen)

I was born on the edge of Boomers/GenZ in 1964, & so my generation is considered “the bridge” – we can remember a time before the introduction of advanced technology but we’ve also adapted to use the technology. I have to say I prefer it before. Life was better. Sorry. It’s true.

Yeah, we are not allowed to say that “it was better before”. But we can say that it gets worse and worse

This video has a lot of shortcomings.. Yes games on tablets have become rampant after 2000 but kids as well as adults still play consoles (Playstation+ Xbox). And virtual reality has still not beaten traditional gaming even in 2025.

Hmmm… in the 70’s & part of the 80’s. The little boy should’ve been outside almost dying before supper time. I think every 70’s/80’s almost died 5 times before high school

False evolution orchestrated by the Zionists to remove religious, family and community values through its machinery including TV, Schools, Media, Politics! Basically they have spent decades on distorting the reality and now so many are brainwashed into accepting it as reality!

What I see is parents beyond preoccupied with their things (chores, leisure) while kids have to fill the void by playing alone. I don’t think that was the case. I think kids were a lot more involved in family responsibilities back in the day which allowed for more interaction

70s was the peak. Every time we conclude that “we went backwards”, an army of tech-addicts (e/acc fanatics) take over. As someone who have worked in Tech for long, have elaborately documented that batting few areas of ACUTE healthcare (& immunotherapy for some edge cases), it all went backwards/downwards, in aggregate. US went off “Gold Standard” by 1971, nationalisation of debt created “Tech Revolution” and ensured household becomes dual-earners. Coping with “Shiny Tech” and “My portfolio is up”, family unit started disintegrating from there on.

My biggest complaint, as an only child, was that my mother never got down on the floor and played with me as I rode Barbie around in my mom's high-heeled shoe.
