Roads in India are not built scientifically. Often they are laid by politically affiliated corrupt contracts who have no experience in such engineering.

We should use polymer modified Bitumen (PMB) instead of VG30 or VG40 in india, especially looking at our weather pattern and uncontrolled heavy vehicle load

Why are there no SOPs for laying roads issued by the highway authority across India? Officials should ensure the quality of the work; if it gets damaged, strict actions such as suspension and debarment of the concerned contractor from obtaining the next government contract should be enforced. #stopcorruption
