Hold the line and keep believin' my Frens. You helped to save the World. Some may laugh and ridicule still, but we know why we did and do what we do. We know who sent us and we know why. In my eyes, Anons are the greatest heroes of our lifetime. I love you all, and let's remember those who didn't make it to where we are now. The FDNY lost 343 of our own that day, and in the decades since, we have continued to lose even more to World Trade Center-related illnesses. Their names, their stories, and their courage are woven into the fabric of the Department and serve as the foundation of the modern FDNY. We renew the promise we made a quarter of a century ago—one we will keep for generations to come: We will Never Forget.
