Nothing will change until the foolish ones among us stop worshipping politicians and celebrities.

I call it the individually smart and collective stupid. 1 smart man going against 10 stupid people. What do you think will happen? Nigerians are smart that’s what I keep hearing. But they are individually smart that’s the problem. Collectivity will alway surpass individuality.

I love the fact that people are already coming out to talk about this evil of classism and the worship of material things in the society, you a people get the kind of leaders they get.

Communalism instead of individualism.

“When your self worth comes from comparison…” Omo this guy preach fr! Why he chose music is now lost to me. He good fr. 🌹

Classism is quietly draining the life out of Nigeria. We’ve been trained to chase validation, titles, accents, front-row church seats, political connections, instead of dignity and truth. While we’re busy trying to prove we “fit in, those in power feed on that hunger. Politicians turn poverty into a weapon. Some religious leaders turn hope and faith into a commodity. And the masses are kept under a spell not by chains, but by ambition. A people starving for validation will defend the very systems that crush them, just to feel acknowledged. Until we unlearn this conditioning, the cycle will repeat. Not because we lack strength, but because we were taught to look upward for approval instead of inward for truth.

We are already mirroring the American dream over here.

The issue with this subject is the lack of desensitization, everyone like to buy-in into this blue & red pill fantasy, always constantly playing the game which the system has created for them, people now love dumber contents (easier to digest and makes them forget the pain)

People with sense needs to be in Government

I’m just short of words.

Too many stupid people are in corridors of power. If they aren't chased out, we then begin to see it all as normal. How can we be proud of abnormalities? Let's go back to when value, integrity and moral matter.

The problem is videos and contents like this don't get the audience and the attention needed unless someone is doing some stupid dumb shit on camera. Where do we go from here

Where them go dig the egbon from… OG eldee

@BiodunIshola2

It’s now a perception game and that’s the sad reality.

Saying all this as if he and MI didn’t bring Buhari in 2015. Omo!!!🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️🤦🏿♀️

We honestly gone in this country…when u think about it everything is just so wrong

The money pit Nigerians are in, is an unending tunnel. It’s one that keeps us under pressure to keep up, it’s like drinking salt water to quench thirst, and even death will not save from its effect. These guys will size up hearse and coffin. We are no longer broke but broken.

In a true capitalistic system Your values aren't tied to the material things you have Those would be liabilities not value In a capitalist system your value us tied to exactly what you generate with what you have which would be your assets Capitalism is about being productive

Fact 💯 and we are all guilty of this shit.

Maybe the best articulation of the Nigerian psycho social debacle.

Not everyone with the accent are pretenders! For context, he moved to the U.S more than 23yrs ago so one way or another, he’s bound to sound like them at some point! He’s been conversing with more Americans in the past years than Africans. You probably weren’t even born then!😏

I felt this 😞😞😞

So much sense in this

Eldee has always had a clear head. That's why he is always a step ahead. Well said the don

You can’t be more absolutely right. Classism in Nigeria is just poor people fighting other poor people over who looks less poor. When you have no real security or safety net, material things become your only proof of worth. So people go into debt for designer bags, mock others for their phones, and perform wealth they don’t have just to feel above someone. Meanwhile the actual rich people who are oppressing everyone just watch and laugh. You’re fighting your fellow struggling Nigerian over an accent while politicians loot billions. The saddest part? We’ve been trained to value what we can display over what we can build. That’s why nothing changes. Everyone’s climbing alone instead of organizing together. Until Nigerians stop measuring human worth by material things and start valuing competence and character, we’ll stay exactly where we are, broke but wearing nice shoes.

Every Nigerian needs to listen to this video

@xdownloaderbot download please

This message should resonate with all Africans. While Nigeria might be in the spotlight and exemplify this the most, it’s a reality that exists among us all.

i better pass my neighbor*

We are all contributors to the failing of our society one way or another. The change we want begins with me

Everything well said and another perspective that need urgency, absolutely and important attention. May God help us to see our true self

@Akeela99O Deep take, it’s the age/type of world we now live in
