YES!! Exactly that, it's all interesting Though I don't like the use of "toxic" because to me that means irreparable damage. I prefer using "unhealthy" in place of her use of "toxic"

Me too, but I get what she's saying. If Stolitz was this perfect, healthy couple from the beginning, that wouldn't make such a big story and the characters have no room to grow. It's all good with established relationships from the get-go, but I need the conflict and the payoff!

Oh yes, what she's saying is exactly right! Stolitz has an interesting love story for all those reasons It was just I wish she'd used "unhealthy" instead of "toxic", other than that, yes! No notes~

THIS, it’s genuinely such an interesting relationship to see develop, I didn’t think I’d ever be that interested in a romance plot before but Helluva boss is doing it for me

Yes! That's why I got hooked with them when "Ozzie's" came out. I was like "Oh, they're going THERE. They have feelings for each other but can't communicate so they have this huge misunderstanding. GIVE IT TO MEEEE" And that's how I started shipping them 🤣

Correeeect; all the pain, the conflict, and the angst are just worth it when you get character development and witness how their relationship is progressing. It's the journey that will make the good and sweet moments between them the more satisfying

It's also strange because why would anyone never anticipate issues and head butting from two people? (Who has lived completely opposite lives) A lot of the 'toxicity' can be over-exgerrated to make it seem as if rooting for Stolitz is on par with cheering on abus!v3 pairings.

Like it's a basic aspect of the romance genre... If you like love stories you KNOW there will always be conflict. Those who call it abusive just have no idea what they're talking about 🙄

RIGHTT?!

exactly, that's like storytelling 101. There's no story without CONFLICT. 👏👏👏

Stolitz drama explains a bigger picture of issues within caste system

I mean I would use the word unhealthy rather then toxic but over all agree with her take. We all come from baggage of some kind. We all had different things stick with us, make it hard to face issues, and struggle to be vulnerable. We work our way through unhealthy thinking +

They both have flaws that they both need to work on to develop and become better people for themselves, for others and for each other.
