Exactly! When I sent out a casting call for my first comic series, "Verion Keller's Vampire Killers". I sent out the list and images of all the female characters the VA's could audition for, and all of them avoided Yolanda Briggs. We have gotten so unhinged that people are afraid to voice characters if they aren't the correct color for them. This delayed the promotional project because I had to spend days hoping someone could voice her, and at the last moment, a Sista came in to the rescue. I don't care what color you are, I have casted Black VA's to voice White characters and even the opposite. This character gave me so much backlash from that pocket community who demands you represent blackness according to their idea of what Blackness means. Apparently Piccolo can be called Black. - Knuckles can be called Black. - Yoruichi gets called Black. - Piccolo is recognized as black. But when I, an actual Black creator, tell people that Dr. Yolanda Briggs is a Black woman in MY comic universe… suddenly I’m wrong. That’s when I realized this conversation was never actually about “representation.” Website:

I think a lot of depression and a lot of bad things come from the fact that you're always like, 'Oh, I need this. It's all about me, myself, and I.' Now, it's not about that... I'm working for something bigger than myself."

The Modernistic Renovation of London Liverpool Street Station 🏙 The time is finally upon us that the Liverpool Street station I've loved for so long is about to see changes that myself and others see as incredibly controversial. A great effort has been made by various people to try and stop this from happening. Though my fears are that the renovations will still go ahead, if people did manage to stop it, I would not feel that I've wasted my time in making this video because it's only by alerting the public that we can help to prevent, or simply raise awareness on such issues. Just imagine all the plans we don't hear about until it's already too late. If you would like others to know about this, or feel the same regret as I do, please share this post in order to make others aware. Thank you all for your support, and for loving the places that mean the world to me. 🤝

I know that people can wake up to reality because I did. I made this video in one take (I was out of breath by the end) when I discovered how wrong I had been. You can tell how bad I was at video editing then and can hear the traffic in the background, but it is a raw and real video that I had put together out of sheer frustration of the ridiculousness I was seeing.
