The game I'm making all these for is wishlistable, for your convenience

Hmm I have an idea...

Utilizing a penis?

but with a good artist you could make a lot of money in a certain style of game but idk, not really worth it maybe

how are you accelerating this? like parallelizing the computation?

Unity3D -> compute shader -> all is computed on GPU. So yeah, deeply parallel, all cores are employed at any moment. I possess no knowledge of RL currently, but in my understanding, NNs are made of equal neurons, so it's parallelizable.

@yacineMTB whats the impact radius of each particle, as in how may other surrounding particles does it take into account for calculations? or is it a different method altogether

@yacineMTB Each particle interacts with about 12 neighbors.

@yacineMTB ty, it's such a good engine. i wonder if it would work in 3d

@yacineMTB Yes, it works in 3d. My pinned post is an example. There I used the same interactions between particles.

@mayfer how much GPU memory does it take for 64 by 64? have you tried scaling it up?

@mayfer 64 by 64 of what? Scaling up is solved for my purposes. Number of particles up to 1M. Sim space size can be 8K*8K sizes of a particle. Should fit to 8GB GPU memory. And if I ever face memory limit, I'll compress data, like storing a few values in a 4 bytes variable.

😂

thought this was a @scheminglunatic post

Freaky arm.

this would work great for my upcoming game "Anime Girl Spanking Simulator"

what’s all that movement on the third one?

if this macho arm doesnt make it into production version, im not playing

looks like adding soap would've made Patrick's day even better!

At this point, why not just go outside and play with dirt and water in real life. Go play golf or something. Or buy a jelly thing and mess around with it. Or go to the gym and work out until your arm looks like that. To me, computer simulations pale in comparison to real physics.

Indeed, but in sims you have power over much more resources and unlimited energy, for greater scale of fun.

True. But it’s just a representation, a shadow of something that is real, like the shadow-figures on the walls of Plato’s cave. (That doesn’t mean don’t have fun. Props on creating your simulation software, it seems decently cool.)

@ZoldenGames same reason you're on the internet talking to strangers instead of friends or family.

@ZoldenGames 🤤🤤🤤

i like the wiggle

It do jiggle

gooner weebs are salivating right now

Are soft bodies not made of particles? For some reason I thought everything made out of them

They are indeed made of particles, but they are connected together by springs, and not interact with each other like the others, which makes them act differently.

The Powder Toy after muscular fists invention

Weirdest boner i had my entire life

looks like Nidhogg physics

this is just oe-cake

I don't know why, but I was reminded of Golden Axe.

Yeah!💪

Average LittleBigPlanet community level

11 year old me would have been drooling at the computer messing with this

Can you configure tensegrities?

Yes, if it makes sense in 2d.

I think it should. The free-body diagram of the profile of a trebuchet should have all the same potential energy necessary to do trebuchet things.

can it punch a tree and get wood

i was deadass just thinking about video game dirt physics yesterday...

Now simulate an entire world space with it and make sure I can poop and that I can smell the farts or I'm not immersed.

Pooping in games is underrepresented.

add some Lemmings and I think you're done.

Missed the chance of slapping the purple one lmao

some more entities waiting to interact
