Excalibur needs a complete restaurant refresh, but the Dirty Castle might not be as dirty as you think… It’s got a ton of character, some good drink deals, and a tiki bar. Who's given it another chance?

We stopped there a couple weeks ago and played at the center bar. Machines were fun and let us play and we both came out ahead. Bartenders were friendly and we never had an issue getting a drink. I’ll go back next time I’m in town and check out the tiki bar.

The intention was to stop there for a drink or two and we were there for a few hours. Anytime you find a decent machine and good bartenders there’s just no sense to leave!

Thought they should target the cheap eats demo like Miracle Mile shops has right now. Their demo is budget travelers & families

The food court is decent low end, not much of a dining option.

I love the Excalibur. They have a great slot floor.

Good beer pong back in the day, Krispy Kreme, tournament of kings (varying from heckling on a rowdy night to enjoying with my wife on a calm night), and good low limit gambling. I’ve always liked Excalibur!

With the knights next door it needs to lean into its theme more and bring back Merlin and the dragon

They closed their poker room, got rid of a lot of Cleopatra Keno machines, and can’t seem to make up their damn minds regarding whether or not they want that moving sidewalk in operation. They need a breakfast diner, otherwise I’m fine with the food choices.

Moving walkways seem to be a problem everywhere in Vegas. I think TAP does breakfast there and the buffet..

That’s why I specifically said, “diner.” Buffets don’t count, especially when they’re 54 bucks and all I want is a $20 overcooked country fried steak & eggs. I don’t know what TAP is though. I’ll have to check that out when I’m back in town in a couple weeks. 👊🏻👍🏻

I looked, they only do breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, and that's kinda my problem there.. I'm not a Buffet fan either, but I'm also barely up for Breakfast.. She needs a dining refresh.

I’ve stayed there a dozen or so times, always fun, never had an issue. The dining situation isn’t a problem because it’s only a short walk to NYNY, where the food choices are much better.

NYNY does have some fun dining options, there needs to be a focus on that for Excalibur.

Why??

Excalibur has and will remain one of my favorite places I've been going there virtually since it opened and it feels comfortable to me old or not . The funny thing is when it goes away people will want it back.

That seems to be the way it goes. I don’t see Excalibur going anywhere, anytime soon though.. MGM has been talking alot about more budget conscious visitors lately.

It's fine. Plenty of character and a lot of action. Nice one-stop shop, especially if you're on vacation with the family.

I'd love to see them do more on VGK game Knights! I think they're missing an opportunity there. It's a little far, but it would be a great place for the parade to start.

That's overdoing it. No one cares about VGK on the strip besides the small area around NYNY.

Haven’t stayed there but we get drinks there often. One of the last themed casinos left. I love it.
