I saw many in that clip from the #GatewayGames2024 opening - starting from Nike Davies-Okundaye (Mama Nike) onwards. Oddly enough, none of those I recognised was a traditional ruler!

Ogun state should be divided into two states. Ifo local government should have become another state by now. Can't remember when a new state was last created. Nigeria is not progressing at all.

A place that bears the name 'Centre of Excellence' should reflect that title, but when you get there, you hardly see it. Lagos is Nigeria's commercial hub and one of the highest IGR-generating cities in Africa.
