For those who haven't seen the Hunger Games, here's a glimpse of what's playing out in Palestine in real life.

Spot on. Two of the most popular movies/series right now are based on resisting occupation, yet people dont seem to make the connection.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. The only reason most people were comfortable siding with resistance groups in these movies is because these groups were mostly white, including the protagonist.

The resistance is always hated mainstream, Untill it becomes the mainstream. 💫

You watched Star Wars, Hunger Games, The Matrix, The Divergent, V for Vendetta and you sided with the resistance in the all movies. Now a real life of this happening in Gaza and you side with the oppressor?

Simply put, in fiction, you can ‘aspire’ to be the brave one. In reality, you can’t event afford to aspire because of real-life risks.

The story of the real life resistance is far greater and a true david vs goliath storyline yet people dogshit on them

This guy wasn’t specifically talking about Palestine. Hamas is a terrorist organization using Western morality to gain support from the West, and it’s working. On that note, ever noticed how pro-Palestinian protests are often more violent than those that are pro-Israel? 🤔🤔
