Excels are notoriously hard to parse. Even though they are machine readable, they end up as a flat string that loses semantic meaning of tables, styling and formulas. Agents can’t use it. We’ve solved that. Raw spreadsheets to perfect HTML, live now on the chunkr API.

Chunkr parses spreadsheets by bounding individual tables, charts, and text as cell ranges.

We preserve everything important, like formulas, styling and embedded images.

We use visual reasoning to intelligently attach headers to distant but relevant tables, making the data much more friendly for an Agent.

@chunkrai You can also use an Excel engine's internal XLSX to html converter via a COM object right? Pywin32 gives a way to do it using python

@agammessi10 @chunkrai or just use openpyxl lol. cross platform, no excel needed works like a charm. this whole product doesnt need AI, you can do it in couple of lines of python. I dont get it.
