Exciting news! Zed now has native Git support starting from v0.177. Designed for speed, Git-native functionality, and a keyboard-first workflow.

The new Git Panel offers a quick view of your working tree and staging area. Stage changes, restore files, and see real-time updates from command line actions.

Commit easily with cmd-enter. Need help with commit messages? Zed can use AI to generate them for you. Plus, it automatically adds 'Co-Authored-By' lines for team collaborations.

Our Diff View combines changes from across your project into a single multi-buffer. Review, stage, or skip hunks with ease, and make last-minute edits directly in the editor.

Quick commits are easy with the 'git::Commit' command palette action. Fetch, pull, and push are also accessible through shortcuts or the command palette.

This is just the beginning! We're planning more Git features like conflict resolution, line-by-line staging, and history visualization. Try it out and let us know what you think!

Awesome! Is there a roadmap for full vibe coding? I think you need to be working on this urgently in order to grow. Or at least integrating something like Claude Code — be the IDE for that terminal-based code master.
