@Springboks the main theme I take from here "test rugby is a different beast, trends in the URC, Top 14, etc don't get carried forward to test rugby" wonder what the stats people is saying?

@Springboks To be honest with u, as a fan I was happy with how everything played off. I was happy we marginally lost to Ireland so that we face France. I certainly wasn't ready to face the All Blacks so early considering we klapped them at Twickenham weeks before

@Springboks Typo heads up 2024 RWC?

if you know, you know!2 years ago

@Springboks Don't believe him on the aspects of loosing to Ireland and subsequently avoiding playing New Zealand. All coaches in big tournaments they weigh in their opponents. SA 🇿🇦 rather play NZ 🇳🇿 in the finals than in the semi's or quarter finals @ those stages you loose ur out.

Matt Damon says he and Ben Affleck had a bank account before fame with River Phoenix as the code "we had a shared Bay Bank account that we would put money in from extra work... $50 or $100, and that money would go into our shared account" "we could only use it for auditions in New York... take the bus or the train, get down there, walk into some place in Midtown, and in three minutes they're like, okay thanks" "or we could use the money for video games... the code was River P because River Phoenix was our age and getting the kind of parts we wanted to play"

For 2026, the best way forward is "TOO BIG TO RIG" SCOTUS let the country down. There's no denying that. But it's not like things got *WORSE*... Things just didn't get *BETTER*... It's merely the status quo. Same rules that we had in 2024... And we had a historic WIN in 2024. Don't forget that. "Too big to rig" is the way. We can be frustrated, but don't let that frustration turn into demoralization. Stay in the fight. We have communists to beat. If you're concerned about fraud, I am too... Let's counter it by bringing more people to the polls with us. Onwards and upwards.

Gary Payton on when he knew Dwyane Wade was “him” and says he reminded him of Kobe Bryant 👀 “The year before when they ECF when they lost. I watched that. This lil kid has a lil spunk to him but he just don’t have the people to guide him the right way. When we got here I watched him in practice and how he worked, he reminded me of Kobe a lot. He’d get in there and put in his extra work. We were playing games and he had 3 games where he had 30 or more. I was like ‘we have to understand that this is him. This is his basketball team.’ I had a meeting with Posey, I had a meaning with Antoine. I said ‘yall know this kid can go, he’s the one.’ They agreed with it. Only person we had to overtake was Shaq. He bit in” (Via Miami HEAT)

VIDEO | As PM Narendra Modi is going on a three-nation tour, former foreign secretary and RS MP Harsh Vardhan Shringla (Harsh V Shringla) says, "I think the focus on the Indo-Pacific partners in the eastern Indo-Pacific, notably Indonesia, Australia, and New Zealand, but just before this significant visit, we also had the visit of the PM of Japan, so it has to be seen in that context. I think it is a very calibrated outreach to our partners in this part of our region, we have very close ties with all three countries, and especially with Australia, and New Zealand, these ties have developed more recently. Indonesia, of course, we have had several exchanges of visits, with President was here for Republic Day celebrations, in 2018, PM Modi had gone to Indonesia, where we entered into a comprehensive strategic partnership, and this visit will consolidate on the gains we made in many areas. Similarly, with Australia, we have had a number of high-level exchanges, that relation is going from strength to strength. Similarly, New Zealand is a relationship where we made huge progress in recent years." #PMModi #Indonesia #Australia #NewZealand

Hillary Clinton on Biden's decision to run in 2024: He made a terrible mistake. He made a terrible mistake for himself, his legacy, and for the country. I believe if he had kept to that plan and said in the late summer of '23 that he wasn't going to run, that he was going to pass the torch to the next generation, we would have had a real contest. And very sadly, I believe whoever emerged from that contest — whether it was the vice president or a governor or a senator or anybody else — would have beaten Donald Trump.

Rick Carlisle explains how the Mavericks beat the the Big 3 Heat in the finals in 2011: “A picture from the finals where Kidd was picking up full court against LeBron James. We were going to be full court, make nothing easy, and be persistent. Always going to be there. We had a zone defense we developed during the previous summer to prepare for that season. — We knew our zone would have to help us in that series because the matchups weren’t there. We were going to be in attack mode, play fast, play random for great opportunities… We had great chemistry. Nowitzki showed that year and in those finals how great he was.” (Via The Draymond Green Show)
