First of all the Christian Bible clearly states that we are citizens of heaven as believers in Christ. The idea is that we are to be good citizens of where we live on earth but that we are to see our primary citizenship as citizens of heaven as believers in Christ. Why is this important? This is important because while we care deeply about the country we live in if our country ceased to exist our faith would not. Throughout history Christians have been persecuted. In fact, more Christians are being persecuted around the world today in China and Africa than at any time in history. Throughout history when you see incredible persecution against the church, the church typically ends up thriving and growing. The New testament talks about this persecution. Jesus talks us his followers being persecuted just as he was. He tells his followers who are us, to expect persecution. Also many parts of the New testament written by Paul and Peter speak to Christians who are being persecuted and have been driven out of their homes. This persecution is seen as normal. Finally, just because there is a coordinated effort underfoot to erase Christianity from the secular West, does not mean it will happen. The main reason for that is because we believe that God is real and the Holy Spirit is real and the Bible is clear that the gates of hell cannot prevail against the church. So, God is sovereign over all things including the persecution, and he has purposes for it, as believers We trust that God's purposes will come to pass. Things that look negative and horrible God can use to his purpose.

They want to normalize and push their agenda on the world’s largest stage, demonstrate the power they have as the games are continuing…so it must not be a bad thing, right? WRONG!!
