It's we've spent over $10 trillion to add 2.6% of global energy from wind, solar, batteries, and all the extra transmission infrastructure combined. And everywhere it's deployed in reasonable penetration rates is developed higher electricity prices. We've seen in the US, every state within the renewable portfolio standard, on average, 50% higher electricity price than the other states that didn't adopt that. We don't want to move industries out of Europe. We don't want to make life more expensive and impoverish our people. We don't want to have two million people still dying because they don't have clean cooking fuel. We want to better energize the world. That's what IEA was founded for. That's we want the IE to do going forward. And I want to get the other support of all the nations in this noble organization to work with us to push the IEA to drop the climate. That's political stuff. Let that be done at the government level. This organization should be about energy, energy security, and improving lives. I commend Director Birol after five years of not having a single scenario in the IEA World Energy Report connected to reality to re-insert the current policy scenario in last year's report. Zelensky isn’t hiding the intent and threatens Orban's life like a Mafia capo on orders from his mafia boss. His former SBU general is on camera telling journalists: “We know where Orbán lives, where he sleeps, where he drinks beer.” This is siege warfare via terrorism against a sovereign EU member state. The same Commission that spent three years selling Europeans a green energy fantasy with wind, solar, the whole theatrical production is now, with wars in Ukraine and Iran crippling LNG supply chains and Druzhba shut as a weapon, quietly rehabilitating nuclear and admitting the phase-out was, in its own words, a strategic mistake. The open admission came in two days ago... the nuclear phase-out was a strategic error, with von der Leyen now championing nuclear with a straight face and somehow still employed. 20 years of Green theology, and the instant the energy crisis bites hard enough, the altar gets dismantled overnight. Choosing cheap, reliable Russian energy over expensive, intermittent EU-approved energy is a government doing its job. Szijjarto stated this week that Europe now has the least available energy of anywhere in the world, and that Hungary is at a critical period — with the Iran war compounding what Brussels engineered in peacetime. When a government refuses to impoverish its own citizens on ideological command, the EU calls it a rule-of-law violation and starts withholding funds. When that same government then blocks the €90 billion military loan to Ukraine until Druzhba reopens, Brussels calls it blackmail. sovereign self-defense is only permitted when directed at approved enemies. And now Zelensky, the man who cannot hold elections, who governs by decree, who banned opposition parties and conscripts his population at gunpoint — becomes Brussels’ enforcer against a democratically elected European prime minister. Ukraine has already blocked Hungarian oil supplies and is now targeting gas infrastructure , with strikes on Turkish Stream compressor stations timed to the election calendar. The Romanian election was stolen in plain sight. The Hungarian election is next on the list, with Kiev and the EU financing the Tisza opposition and Zelensky threatening Orban's family. The EU watches and moves ahead with it's coup plan should they fall at buying a win in April. A vassal continent managed by unelected commissioners, enforced by a client-state military, directed against any member that dares put its people first. Kiev should be careful what it is provoking because if Ukraine continues down this road, Budapest may conclude that the only reliable energy corridor is one it controls itself, through Zakarpattia, the historic Hungarian region sitting in Western Ukraine, returned by force of circumstance if not by negotiation. Zelensky is lighting fires he cannot extinguish. It will not end well for Brussels or for whatever is left of Ukraine when the bill finally comes due.
