Gina Carano spoke about the $1,000,000 offer from Dana White and the UFC to fight Ronda Rousey around 2015…and how a text from Dana ended it all. Now, more than a decade later, Gina vs. Ronda is happening…under Jake Paul’s MVP banner 👀 In a 2019 interview with Ariel Helwani, Gina described having a “nice dinner” with Dana White and Lorenzo Fertitta, where she was offered “$1,000,000” to fight Ronda. She said she left the dinner “stoked.” But the next day, Dana was in the media saying she was getting signed. Gina says she had made it clear she needed about six months to step away from Hollywood, find a gym, and build an honest team that didn’t just want her because of the magnitude of the fight. Instead, she felt public pressure begin to mount. She said Dana “kept on doing that and kept on doing that. And I’m still kind of searching for a team, and I’m feeling the pressure and then he sent me a text message that said ‘this bitch isn’t f**king us around.’ Or something like that.
