Excuse the poor camera work in the first video, but WOW. eBay authenticated this Ohtani rookie that someone faked into being a refractor by laminating it. This is unreal.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted that this passed authentication. Everyone should be able to tell things fake.

Wow. I hate ebay authentication more and more everyday. I've had 2 cards stolen that went to authentication, (both arrived empty to authentication), yes easy refund but I would have preferred the cards. And also have had a chourio clearly with damage that you couldn't see in listing pics, and no mention in description.

So they just put clear holo overlay on the front and printed a clear sticker overlay for the back to add the word refractor and slapped it on a base card to sell it for more. And eBay missed that. Man that is jacked.

You need to out the seller. Do they have a bunch more refractors of high priced RCs for sale?

I just had one come to me that had ridiculous damage that wasn’t listed. Authenticated my ass! Its like they are just verifying the player and moving on.

Who did you buy it from? Shouldn’t you say so others don’t purchase from them?

I’ve had multiple $500+ cards come back with creases and surface damages that weren’t disclosed. Idk what they are looking at lol
