Col Bashir rightly pointed that China would empower us that would serve their purpose and strengthen our deterrence against India (like providing J-10C, HQ-16, HQ-9, J-35 etc) but US' is more invested towards battling proxies like TTP etc. But both of the powers would toe their line of interests.
