In Pokrovsk, troops of Ukraine’s 79th Air Assault Brigade approached a building occupied by Russian forces and destroyed it with a TM-62M mine. Several Russian soldiers were also captured and eliminated during the operation. Ukrainian forces continue to clear the city block by block.

The TM62-P3 AT landmine is a majority plastic which makes detection more difficult then high metallic mines. A controlled blast during UTTC Technology Week 2026 in western Ukraine. The ScanJack 3500 is the heaviest mine clearance machine currently used in Ukraine. Built to clear ground too dangerous for people, it advances through sand and soil with chains tearing up the surface ahead of it. Then the mine detonates. A glimpse of the machinery now helping return mined land to safe use.
