expandable in-app notification with Expo

@expo These are system notifications or true in-application notifications? I don’t understand why spend the effort to emulate a system function on the app. Makes me think of how Chinese apps will do this for everything and it just looks bad/broken after OS updates

@expo Ah yeah. I’ve wondered why they bother. Telegram’s work well though. Have you checked out apple’s system notification previews and what they’re capable of? I have not but am curious

@expo Well i feel it’s just a lot of double-work to be basically recreating the system notifications inside your app. Nothing wrong with getting a system noti while the app is open IMO. I don’t know why most people feel it’s wrong.

@expo yes it’s all RN using RNGH for gestures, Reanimated, Expo Liquid Glass. no native config needed:)
