Earlier this week, World Health Organization (WHO) hosted a Forum to improve coordination with partners to address these threats and review progress on the Global Alcohol Action Plan, the WHO SAFER initiative and other efforts to prevent and treat the harm caused by alcohol, drugs and addictive behaviours.

That’s why I’m introducing a resolution calling for greater action from the Canadian government to prevent and fight wildfires. With more than 3,640 wildfires in Canada this year alone, it’s clear that more action needs to be taken to prevent and stop these fires.
