Dems will nuke the filibuster as soon as they get power. I don’t understand why Republicans don’t nuke it yesterday.

@chris_zman Harry Reid nuked the filibuster under Obama. He said that it had outlived it's usefulness and was suppressing the popular will. He's absolutely right. Americans on both sides support this bill.

The argument is dumb because the Ema have made clear the filibuster is gone when they retake the Senate. RINOs being nice won’t prevent that. RINOs being nice is how California turned from red to deep blue.

What's your rush? 8 months before the election and you want to implement completely new verification protocols. Conservative estimates say 10 million Americans won't be able to vote bc of new hurdles. (Real Americans; not your bogus noncitizens.) 10 million legit Americans not able to get the passport book ($130) or birth certificate, with marriage license for the married ladies. Don't give Trump an opportunity to intervene in a botched and highly contested new verification process. He doesn't want this election. It doesn't look good for him. He's looking for an excuse to pull the plug and declare a failed election.

Thank you for all your efforts to keep this matter for front & force its passage. That said, I still really wish you guys had made the Save America Act fully comprehensive as so many of us have suggested. I wish you had included that Federal elections must be by paper ballot, voting on Election Day only and made it a federal holiday. Why you didn't include all of those things is still a mystery to me. Even so, it is still far better than nothing.
