Amazing! 💪 The only WSL club I don't hate and I actually follow. And the reasons: you state them in the video.

LCL IMO , these are some things Expected as a top Club there is time but...... Training & Performance Dedicated first-team performance campus/headquarters building (purpose-built, not just refurbished existing clubhouse/pavilion/academy structures). Arsenal and Chelsea operate from integrated high-spec campuses with everything under one roof. Multiple elite grass pitches to Premier League/WSL specification (some with undersoil heating, hybrid stitching, dedicated goalkeeper areas) plus a high-quality indoor pitch. Current Cobdown setup has a limited number of existing grass and artificial pitches. · Female-specific high-performance gym with equipment programmed/calibrated for women’s physiology, plus specialist testing (e.g. hamstring strength, movement screening) and therapy machines. · Advanced hydrotherapy and recovery suite (large hydrotherapy pool, underwater treadmill, ice/contrast baths, sauna/steam). Chelsea’s Cobham facility is a well-known example of this standard Medical, Recovery & Player Support Comprehensive on-site medical and rehabilitation centre with latest screening, treatment rooms, and rehab tech tailored to female athletes. Dedicated player lounge, wellbeing/mental performance spaces, and high-spec nutrition/canteen (performance catering, recovery drinks, sometimes personalised options). Full video analysis suites, meeting rooms, and office space designed around first-team and staff workflows. Matchday Control of (or regular access to) a significantly larger, higher-spec stadium with better broadcast, hospitality, accessibility, family, and commercial facilities. Arsenal now play all WSL games at the Emirates; Chelsea will play all WSL games at Stamford Bridge from 2026–27. Hayes Lane remains a modest shared ground. Academy & Holistic Setup Fully integrated but distinct academy building and pitches at the same elite standard as the first team, with community 3G access as a bonus rather than the core offering. Changing rooms, lockers, and support spaces designed specifically for larger women’s squads (separate U18 provision, menstruation facilities, staff changing that accounts for mixed-gender backroom teams). LCL already owns the land and has planning permission plus early upgrades (gym, changing rooms, some pitches). The 2027 campus is explicitly intended to close most of this gap and be “built to specifically meet the needs of women” at a level comparable to men’s Premier League clubs. Until it opens, the club is operating with a mix of upgraded existing buildings and temporary arrangements while competing against sides that already have mature, fully fitted elite campuses and big-stadium match days.
